Please note that if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.

Travel Restrictions

Please note prior authorisation must be obtained from the rental agent prior to any cross border travel.

You may drive the rental car to certain countries outside of Germany. There are certain restrictions on car classes and makes/models.

Vehicles can also be driven in Croatia, Southern Italy, the Vatican, San Marino, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary with exception of vehicles of the brands Audi, BMW, Mercedes, VW, Land Rover, and Jaguar.

Additional charges will apply for all cross border travels.

In all cases, customers must inform the rental branch of their intention to leave the country with the vehicle and require authorization.

Out-of-country rentals are not allowed to any other countries not mentioned above. €6 per day, €35 per week, max. €50 per rental

Childseats are only offer in Germany at Airport locations (not homecity)
